Mavic Mini Raw

Never have bought a drone considering the mavic mini because it is has an amazing form factor i can easily put in a camera bag with my dslr to take photos i cannot generally reach for landscapes.

Mavic mini raw. Is this correct or is it some kind of specs mistake. This is where the upcoming dji mavic comes into play. So yeah having raw on the mavic mini would ve been nice to be to able to push and pull those files just a little bit more but listen to me on this one it ain t no deal breaker and this is coming from someone who completely appreciates the advantages of raw vs jpg files. Yes there s no 4k video or raw still capture but this is a machine of compromises. Since the drone was deliberately made to weigh 249g this was acceptable but the mavic mini was no longer the drone we were hoping it would be. The jpgs out of the mini are fine. The compact yet powerful mavic mini is the perfect creative companion capturing your moments in a way that effortlessly elevates the ordinary.

The lack of raw support or 4k video will inevitably disqualify it from being used for more intensive applications. I work with raw so i can do my own development but jpeg only is a dealbreaker for me as i like to adjust colours and exposure. The mavic mini lacks the ability to capture 4k footage something that may bother professionals or enthusiasts but it s still capable of producing decent video thanks to the stabilized gimbal. But now reading the final specs i ve noticed it only shoots jpeg.

Even in moderate winds i didn t experience the dreaded jello effect a pain point with older models that caused footage to appear wobbly. 249 g ultralight 1 30 min max. And yes i would have loved that the mavic mini had 4k and raw who knows what a fw update will bring but in the end this is not a semi professional drone it is a toy drone. Nothing should theoretically prevent dji from adding raw support.

The mavic mini is tiny light and relatively cheap which means there are some trade offs to.
